AFR is pleased to announce it entered into a purchase agreement with International Isotopes (INIS) for their depleted uranium deconversion and fluorine processing assets. This agreement will allow AFR to support the expanding domestic enrichment market with a future facility that will provide the necessary infrastructure to meet the growing need for low carbon electric generation from nuclear power. The parties expect closing to occur in 12 to 24 months, in order to properly transfer all related licenses, patents, permits, and agreements. Closing is contingent on various conditions being met, including approval by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
